IMPROVING EARTHQUAKE RESISTANCE OF BUILDINGS WITH DEFECTS
Abstract
To ensure safe and reliable operation of railway transport is the large number of various structures and buildings, which houses modern equipment for train traffic control. Some of these buildings are the posts and power plant (EC). Most of the buildings of EC posts were built over 40 years ago. During the operation of these ETS has been repeatedly modernized equipment and, consequently, was repeatedly used for the reconstruction of buildings and premises of the EC. Some of the buildings ETS, because of their moral and physical wear and tear, recently replaced by a newly constructed and part of the remaining buildings, due to the high cost, complexity, and sometimes impossibility of the transfer of equipment is in need of radical reconstruction. The results of the survey of the technical state of structures two-storey building of a post of electric centralization at one station of the Lviv railway. Required to evaluate the technical condition of building structure and suggest measures to improve the earthquake resistance of buildings and ensure further trouble-free operation. In the terms of reference for the execution of works as the required conditions was the lack of any construction works in the premises of the second floor.
