MODELING THE SYSTEM FOR THE LOT CARGOES TRANSPORTATION IN INTERCITY
Abstract
In the paper, from the analysis of literature and Internet sources, it was concluded that at the present stage the most appropriate way to increase the efficiency of long-distance motor transport is to create the logistics centers that will significantly reduce the costs of transportation, loading, unloading, storing operations in warehouse in order to decrease the freight transportation cost. The analysis of existing models and techniques of developing the long-distance lot cargoes transportation systems showed that these models solve isolated problems and have general analytical dependencies.
A significant number of lot cargoes and the absence of models and techniques that would describe the operation of motor vehicles for bringing and taking the cargoes from the logistics centers will make it possible to experiment in the future.
variant of cargo transportation is chosen, comparing expenses incurred on one ton at cross-carriage and at delivery with overload in a logistic center. From the chosen and substantiated efficiency criterion (transportation cost), a mathematical model of the lot cargoes transportation process in intercity has been obtained that takes into account the use of logistics centers for the consolidation and distribution of cargoes by service regions.
As a result of the analysis of the mathematical model obtained, the basic elements of the transportation system that affect its efficiency have been determined: the distance of transportation and the volume of deliveries of lot cargoes to logistic centers, between logistics centers and from logistics centers.
In the work, a decision was made to use the methods of mathematical modeling in the experimental studies because of their versatility and high accuracy.
The use the analytical dependence will allow obtaining the value of the efficiency criterion from the parametric values that influence the criterion.
Keywords: model, a lot cargo, intercity.
