SOCIOCULTURAL BASIS OF URBAN STRUCTURE OF CITIES OF INDUSTRIAL CIVILIZATION (FOR EXAMPLE RIO DE JANEIRO, BOSTON AND ST. PETERSBURG)
Abstract
Research imbalances of development of planning structure of industrial cities is an question that is actual to modern urban science. The article analyzes the formation of the planning structure of the prominent cities of Rio de Janeiro, St. Petersburg and Boston are belonging to different socio-cultural communities. Analysis of the history of the formation of cities reveals the identity of the planning structure during the founding of towns and discovers the original features of the next stages. The article concludes about a influence for the formation of planning structure of the city of the civilization development.Keywords: civilization approach, planning structure, industrial city, Latin American city, the structural model.
