Ceramic granite - an artificial finishing material, very durable and solid, which imitates a natural stone. This material has been losing its relevance for many years. A significant amount of ceramic granite tiles in the Ukrainian market is represented by domestic production, indicating the promise of this building material. The quality of ceramic granite of different purpose is determined by a set of characteristics, such as: strength, wear resistance, humidity, format, thickness, load resistance, as well as appearance of the face surface. The quality of ceramic granite depends on the period of its operation. Analyzing the current state of the industry of ceramic boards, it is possible to note that the high growth rate and volume of construction, as well as the requirements of architects cause the need to expand the range, improve quality and increase production volumes. However, the difficulties of individual processes lead to the receipt of products of poor quality. One of the important areas of research in the production of ceramic granite plates is the development of new techniques in the processing of tiles, which allows the production of various types of ceramic granite, such as polished, polished (lapated) and rectified. Analyzing the technology of lapating during the production of ceramic granite, the problem of under-polishing due to deformation of the plate was revealed. The conducted researches revealed the technological features of the production of lapped ceramic granites. The technological parameter of the process of lapating, affecting the quality indices - deformation. The problem of production is the lack of polishing. The study found the reason for such polishing, that is, grinding (diamond) brushes do not reach the surface of the plate to polish due to deformation of the slab. Proposition: install additional sensors with deformation parameters at which the under-polish will be insignificant and thereby extend the service life of the grinder and the timeliness of diamond brushes. In the study, optimization of the parameters of lapating according to the criteria of the least permissible defect of the under-polishing, taking into account the restriction on the deformation of ceramic granite, was carried out. As a result of experiments, the parameters of permissible deformation were determined. To optimize the technology, it was proposed to install sensors with such tolerable parameters -0.4 / + 0.9. On this basis, the conditions for improving the quality of the plate processing are determined. The proposed technology has a significant advantage over the traditional, as it allows you to reduce labor and material costs, as well as reduce the timing of production of quality slabs.
