ARCHETYPE INTERMEDIARIES IN CHINESE ARCHITECTURE
Abstract
Considered figurative and symbolic significance of the tectonic structure of urban development practices of Chinese architecture. Highlighted the role of the principle of the Trinity as the archetype of the mediation in the composition and spatial structure of the sacred buildings and urban ensembles of China, its value as a means to re-create the model of the world, comparable to the system of the cosmos itself.
