THE DEPOSIT INTENSITY DETERMINATION FOR NONEQUIVALENT ALKALINE CONCENTRATION
Abstract
The estimation is given to the laboratory researches results on the mixing effect at a certain speed and duration for the deposits inhibition of the active crystalline calcium carbonate forming. Tested aqueous solutions were prepared in tap water at different temperature, concentrations of suspended solids, oil, the hydrocarbonate and hydrate alkalinity non-equivalent ratios - 1: 2 and 2: 1 by volume. According to the research found that the concentration of suspended solids substantially influences the process of inhibiting solid salt deposits with vigorous stirring, while the presence of oil in water at concentrations almost no effect on the process. The effective range of mixing parameters (rate and duration) to upgrade and conduct pilot testing of the hydrocyclone construction, which is designed for a variety of wastewater treatment plants (in the metallurgical, engineering, chemical and other industries), where there is a need for their stabilization treatment - softening and neutralization.
