NUMERICAL MODELLING OF DEFINITION OF RADIATION-PROTECTIVE INDICATORS OF MATERIALS FOR CREATION OF WORKING CLOTHES
Abstract
Creation of protective materials is based off on known effects of physics of interoperability of an ionizing radiation with substance. The specific character of interoperability of an ionizing radiation with substance imposes the certain restrictions on possibilities materials scientists in synthesis of protective materials The article examines the processes occurring during the passage of ionizing radiation, gamma-neutron radiation through matter. Identified and the necessity of using the Monte Carlo method. The analysis and choice of a software package realizing modeling the passage of ionizing radiation through a substance with the use the Monte Carlo method. Keywords: ionizing radiation, gamma radiation, neutron radiation, the Monte Carlo method, software packages, radiationprotective materials.
