HUMAN SECURITY IN THE CONTEXT OF EDUCATION FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Abstract
Human’s Safety is one of the central themes in Education for a Sustainable Development (ESD). After Decade of Education for Sustainable Development was closed in 2014, UNESCO, as the lead agency of the Decade, worked out a Global Action Programme on ESD. We believe, that the Global Action Programme, which was launched during the World Conference on ESD in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan (November 2014), will provide practical guidance for effective implementation of ESD by our academic
society.
