ECONOMICAL STIMULATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ACTIVITIES
Abstract
The main economic tool for stimulating environmental protection activities in Ukraine are now environmental compensation payments. Current Ukrainian legislation provides for a wide range of ways to stimulate environmental activities, namely: tax breaks, preferential loans, accelerated depreciation of fixed assets of environmental values and so action is a mechanism of preferential taxation in the field of energy conservation, alternative energy and alternative fuels, as well as customs exemptions for equipment and components to be used for the implementation of environmental investment projects. The rest of the path of economic incentives due to the difficult economic situation currently not implemented. It has been established that need continuing government support in finding new ways of financing, the creation of a favorable investment climate, reform of concessional lending system, the introduction of environmental insurance system.Keywords: protection activities, economic stimulation of environmental protection activities.
