ADEQUATE ACCURACY ASSURANCE OF PRECISION LEVEL MEASURING OF PAVEMENT DEFLECTION

Abstract

Based on the results of the analysis of the methodology and design features of the measurement of the deformation of the coating under the wheel of the car with the help of precision levelers, the systematic errors of measurement and the causes of their occurrence, depending on the design features of optical flat parallel plates and research methods, were determined. It is established that due to the installation of levelers with a plane-parallel plate with a slope to the horizon, significant systematic errors appear, and the mechanism of appearance of these errors is established. Conducted appropriate calculations and proposed specific measures to ensure the required accuracy of measurements. As a result of this work, the expediency of using precision leveling methods in diagnosing road clothing has been substantiated.
