INSPECTION, CANNING AND RESTORATION OF SURFACE STONE IN REVETMENT ARCHITECTURAL MONUMENTS
Abstract
In article were described the problems of conservation of stone in architectural monuments. Were analyzed the main conservation methods, which use on the Ukrainian monuments by specialists of “Ukrrestavratsiya” corporation.
The main problem in keeping the architectural heritage is the problem of conservation and protection of construction. The main principle of restorers in the whole world in conservation of objects from subsequent destruction, minimum interference with fundamental principle of a sight that is why our major task – is not to allow the loss of a sight, but renewing or restoring – not to disfigure it, preserving everything for the coming generation.
About importance of professional realization of restoration works, and consequently preparations of specialists‑restorers are testified by the acceptance of charter of ICOMOS from preparation of specialists in industry of guard and restoration of objects of cultural heritage.
