Abstract

The conditions of liquefaction of liquefied hydrocarbon gas (LPG) under the operating conditions of the JSC Ukrgazvydobuvannya plant are considered. Studies were conducted to develop recommendations for the purification of liquefied gas from mercaptans and hydrogen sulfide when using alkaline flushing (NaOH solution). It is shown that the composition of the liquefied gas is not constant and sometimes it contains carbonyl sulfide СОС, there is a constant presence of СС2. In addition, the gas has a significant presence of CO2 and H2S. The amount of CO2 reaches 3.4-3.6 g / kg. Mercaptans in the liquefied gas are in the amount of 0.60 - 0,70% of the mass. The presence of diethyl sulfoxide and thiocyclans in the liquefied gas has been proved. Washing with 10 -20% alkaline (NaOH) leads to a significant decrease in the amount of sulfur-containing compounds in the liquefied gas. It is recommended to intensify the mixing of alkali and liquefied gas with the help of a developed static-type portable mixer. It is recommended to consider the feasibility of adding sodium phosphate to a solution of alkali in the amount of 1 g / l, which reduces the corrosion rate of equipment by 2-3 times. It is recommended to design a small monoethanolamine installation to reduce the content of carbon dioxide in the liquefied gas and the reliable operation of the flushing unit and to reduce the amount of alkali loss. For efficient drying of the liquefied gas, as well as filtration from iron sulfide, the use of fluoroplastic filters is shown.
