The article is devoted to the peculiarities of the formation of the organizational structure of management at the enterprises of hotel business. It has been proved that this is a very topical issue in order to ensure the effective operation of accommodation facilities and eliminate their dependence on seasonal factors.
The aim of the work is to determine the algorithm for the formation of the organizational structure of the hotel business enterprises and to assess the impact of personnel on its compliance.
It has been found that in order to achieve this goal, it is necessary to clearly allocate functional responsibilities among hotel staff and similar accommodation facilities in accordance with their affiliation with certain basic services of accommodation facilities
The main characteristics of hotels and similar facilities - the category, range of services, the number of rooms, the specialization, the form of business organization, the degree of centralization of management - these are the primary parameters, which will depend on the type of organizational structure of management. Equally important is the lifecycle of the accommodation facility. Depending on the stage, which is being experienced by the hotel, the goals and features of the management system have been formed.
The dynamics of the average number of staff members in hotels and similar accommodation facilities, the dynamics of the number of hotels and similar accommodation facilities and the dynamics of their capacity in them, the dynamics of the average number of staff members per one hotel or similar means of placement in the regions of Ukraine have been analyzed. It was found that the correlation between these indices is directly proportional.
The comparison of the number of actual employees of the hotel business with normative indicators made it clear that the number of employees per one accommodation facility is too small to provide the services of the proper quality.
In order to avoid this problem, the procedure for the selection and registration of personnel in hotels and similar types of placement in the regions of Ukraine with the allocation of functions of performers in accordance with the specifics of services has been determined in order to comply with the organizational structure of the management of the accommodation facility in general.
