The article reveals the methodology to calculate the impact of production equipment and the effectiveness of its application on the enterprise profit change. It is emphasized that profit represents an integral financial indicator, which reflects all aspects of business subject activity. This indicator is affected by a variety of technical and operational factors, in particular, factors characterizing the efficiency of production equipment exploitation. In view of this, the factorial analysis of this indicator, that is, the study of these factors influence on its change is of real significance.
The efficiency of time and capacity production equipment application is the decisive impact on the company’s profit. The most complete and the most rational use of enterprise machinery and equipment contributes to their higher technical and economic indicators, as well as to significant increase in the value of profit. The article determines an important tool for solving many economic problems, in particular, analytical study of the influence of individual factors on the change in enterprise profit, which is the indicator modelling. The process of profit factorial systems modelling should take into account the main factors that characterize the efficiency of industrial equipment application and its impact on the indicator value.
In order to determine the influence of these factors on the overall change of the researched profit index, it is proposed to carry out a successive, phased, factorial analysis of this indicator using the method of chain substitutions. This method of profit factorial analysis enables to decompose this index into a number of analytical primary sub-factors, to present them as multiplicative models, to determine the influence of the most important factors on its change, to investigate the patterns of such influence, to rationale the managerial decisions regarding further development of the enterprise.
