In the modern world, effective territorial planning has become an important factor determining the sustainable development of regions. The relevance of this topic is due to the need to adapt management strategies to the complex socio-economic and environmental conditions faced by the regions of Ukraine. An integrated assessment of the spatial factor influence on the processes of territorial planning can significantly enhance decision-making efficiency at the regional level. Alongside the general need for improvement in territorial planning, there is a lack of methodological approaches that take into account all key influencing factors. It is necessary to develop integrated assessment models that include economic, social, environmental, and security aspects that directly impact the effectiveness of regional development management. The aim of the study is to develop an algorithm for the integrated assessment of the influence of spatial factors on territorial planning. The objectives include: identifying key factors affecting planning efficiency; developing an assessment algorithm that considers the interaction of factors; conducting an assessment of the integrated coefficient of spatial factor influence; and providing recommendations for improving territorial planning. The object of the study is territorial planning at the regional level, while the subject is the spatial factor influence on the effectiveness of this process. As a result of the conducted analysis, the main factors affecting territorial planning were identified, an integrated assessment algorithm was developed, and a ranking of regions in Ukraine was performed based on the effectiveness of their territorial planning. The obtained results indicate the need to consider the complex influence in planning processes. The developed recommendations can be utilized by local authorities, planners, and researchers to improve the quality of territorial planning, ensuring sustainable development of regions and adaptation to new challenges. The use of integrated assessment will enhance resource management and meet the needs of the population at the regional level.
