Abstract
The article analysis of the treatment of solid waste in the world and Ukraine. Found that in Ukraine only 5% of waste to be recycled, most recycle paper, textiles, glass. Handling garbage at landfills most inherent in such countries as Russia, Ukraine, United Kingdom. At most landfills collects food waste and paper, and the smallest - and ash wood.
