ADDITIONAL INFILTRATION INTO THE GROUNDWATER AT THE METROPOLITAN AREA (FOR EXAMPLE, KHARKOV)
Abstract
The problem of man-made additional supply of underground water in the area of Kharkov as a typical industrial city. The basis for the quantitative determinations are the statistics on the volume of the water in the water supply and wastewater discharge in the city. The aim is to assess the impact of additional infiltration by rising water tables and their qualitative composition.
