ANALYSIS OF METHODS FOR EVALUATION OF TRAFFIC SAFETY DURING THE ROAD LIFE CYCLE
Abstract
At the solution of problems of increasing the traffic safety the special attention has to be concentrated on the methods studying regularities of the driver`s behavior allowing to estimate the influence of road conditions on probability of road accidents commission. For development of the actions aimed at safety of the movement in the course of the highway life cycle, particular topicality gain the relevance problems of an assessment of communication "road conditions – the driver – road accident" and improvement of methods of forecasting the accident rate in the changing highway service conditions.In the article the main approaches to the solution of a problem of increasing the traffic safety are considered. On the basis of the carried-out analysis of the assessment methods of traffic safety, prospects of ergonomic approach for the solution of the assessment problems and forecasting the level of traffic safety in the course of the highway life cycle are proved.
