STABILIZATION TREATMENT WORKING CYCLE OF PRIMARY GAS COOLER OF PURIFIED PHENOLIC WATERS
Abstract
The article presents the results of studies on the effect of purified phenolic water after biochemical treatment unit and corrosion inhibitor (sodium silicate - sodium polyphosphate), Corrosion and scaling activity of circulating water cooling cycle of coke oven gas were estimated. To reduce corrosion and scaling processes in highly mineralized circulating water require chemical treatment with the use of phosphates and silicates. Using this reagents significantly inhibits corrosion and scaling processes on heat transfer surfaces and gives an opportunity to significantly reduce the use of pure natural water by utilizing the phenolic water from coke production. Keywords: phenolic waste water, corrosion inhibitors, biocides, heat transfer equipment, water recycling.
