ECONOMIC AND ECOLOGICAL ISSUES OF UTILIZATION FALLEN FOLIAGE IN CITY
Abstract
Human living environment and natural resources are basis material foundation of economic and ecological systems. The traditional economic system takes into account the natural resources as a base of different economic sectors; whilst ecological economics considers that applying is protection and reproduction the environment and natural resources. The paper treats approaches are handling the fallen foliage of large cities with ecological and economic evaluation the possible utilizing measures, put forward variants of applying fallen foliage. Aim is to consideration of utilization of plant origin waste in Ukraine cities for reduce the environmental damage and receive economic benefits. Composting is followed by the production of biogas and fertilizers is the priority of alternative applying fallen foliage as a secondary resourceKeywords: fallen foliage, grass clippings, fuel, plant waste.
