ANALYSIS OF THE ENERGY EFFICIENCY OF OUTDOOR LIGHTING
Abstract
The analysis of the outdoor lighting on regions of Ukraine, which allowed it to evaluate the energy efficiency and to identify ways to improve it. Summarizing the data can be argued that the dynamics of the implementation of energy-saving light sources in outdoor lighting has a very slow and in some regions it is even absent. This is due to lack of funding in this area. The constant increase in costs for electricity consumed light sources one that occurs over several years, due to the fact that the lighting outdoor lighting installations using inefficient light sources. Replacing these sources with energy-efficient CFLs can achieve energy savings of 2.5 - 3 timesKeywords: energy efficiency, outdoor lighting, light source, compact fluorescent lamp.
