MODERN MODEL OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT REGION
Abstract
The questions related to the problems of formation and implementation of a modern model of sustainable development of the region. Also investigated the relationship with aspects of the environmental component of the socio-economic development of the region. The implementation of fast and efficient transformation of the socio-economic processes in Ukraine, according to the principles of sustainable development on the background of strengthening the role of regions is an extremely important issue. It was found that, in turn, both theoretical and practical aspects of social sustainability of the region is an important part of sustainable regional development in general.
Strategic direction for regional policy at the present stage should be the implementation of a new, active role in the region, as the subject of sustainable development. In establishing the system of knowledge about sustainable development process modeling occupied an important place. Scientific support task management, coordination of performance criteria and social security, inter-territorial and hierarchical interactions require their social and ecological-economic modeling on the basis of political, ethnic, biomedical, information and other factors of sustainable development and, in particular, the development of the theory of harmonization of interests etc.
Most projects focused on very complex models and require large amounts of qualitative information. This causes difficulties for their use in order to meet initial operational assessment of the impact of economic development on the environment. In this regard, more important is the development of simple models that do not require large amounts of information and can quickly assess the impact of specific steps the government and business in environmental performance.
Keywords: model of sustainable development, region, community, environmental component, socio-economic development, transformation.
