INDICATORS OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF THE HUMAN SETTLEMENT
Abstract
In the article, sustainable development of a settlement is considered as a system for improving the quality of life of the population through the balance of land management and the construction industry. Today, the sustainable development of the territory is viewed as an ecological and economic category. Ukrainian scientists urbanplannings defined conditions for sustainable development of cities as a balanced ratio of different functional areas and organizational areas within all components of hierarchical planning structure. In the article, it was proposed to use the technical indicators of town planning activity, namely the "indicator of land and building violations" and the "intensity indicator of construction" to assess the sustainable development of urbanized areas. To calculate these indicators, it is necessary to create a monitoring system for urban development.
