OPTIMIZATION OF HEATING SYSTEM OPERATION IN RESIDENTIAL DWELLING
Abstract
The approach to modeling the process of heating the dwelling is proposed. We consider the process of the heating system functioning in time taking into account a nature constraint concerning limited number of heating devices as elements for designing optimal structure of corresponding heating system. As elements of heating system being developed following devices are considered: gas boiler, electric heater, air conditioning as well as central heating.
The detailed analysis of main parameters of those devices such as amount of heat, unit cost has been considered. Moreover characteristics of a comfortable microclimate in residential areas have been studied.
The mathematical model that is constructed in the paper is a multidimensional multicriteria dynamic problem of discrete optimization. As the optimal decision we accept the one that describes the optimal mode of heating in residential building, ensuring a reduction in costs. Mathematical model algorithmically and programmatically implemented, is the basis for the design of an automated control system for the modes of heating in a dwelling.
Within the framework of this model, additional restrictions can be imposed on the use of certain heating systems that will allow additional energy savings. Such limitations are: air humidity, heat of combustion of gas in a certain region, maximum load on the electrical network, the possibility of accumulating thermal energy, recuperation of ventilated air and wastewater, predicted air temperature etc. The implementation of this system can significantly reduce the cost of heating in the presence of several heating systems and the availability of preferential limits on energy.
