The article investigates the influence of the principles and means of composition on modern architecture in the sense of architecture as a tool that has a whole syncretic approach to reality, its purposeful development and transformation. The compositional techniques in the subject-spatial development of modern architecture, which are used, affects the creation of its image. It is discussed that the way to create and identify the unity in architecture is artistic composition. As a result of the analysis of the artistic image as a process and result of architecture-it is proved that the architectural composition is peculiar to the architectural form artistic creation. It is revealed that the problem of new and old architecture is connected with problems, born of the scientific and technological revolution and the development of urbanism.
It is proved that the artistic image is the result of creative contact between people and creation
architectural art that took place through architectural creation. It is declared that the characteristic feature of all primary urban compositions is spatial localization. It is proved that the gap between the real form of the city and its spiritual the interpretation of the middle ages was reflected in the desire for personal awareness and artistic
understanding the urban form.
Thus, the composition of the city, moving from the quality of "compo-composition of elements" (something like the ensemble) as a "song structure" becomes very dependent on the completeness of its saturation and to a greater extent than the structure itself.
Therefore, from the point of view of the possibility of formation of compositional integrity, the town-planning scale of the planning structure of the pre-center nature in creation of such integrity.
