FEATURES FOR PREPARING EQUIPMENT FOR THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM GEOIN-FORMATION SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGIES
Abstract
The article is devoted to solving the actual problem of determining the peculiarities of preparing specialists for the educational program of geographic information systems and technologies.
The work solves the problem of determining the structure of the educational program of geographic information systems and technology, the formation of requirements for the development of educational program, characteristics of the components of the educational program. Special attention is focused on the structure of the educational program of geographic information systems and technologies, which consists of its profile, component list, form of attestation, matrices of compliance of program competences with the components of the educational program and providing programmatic learning outcomes to the relevant components of the curriculum. The requirements and scope of the educational program are determined.
Among the list of components of the educational program are determined mandatory and selective. Within the specialty of geodesy and land management, compulsory components include disciplines that determine the possibilities for implementing an educational program on geographic information systems and technologies
The peculiarities of the educational program on geoinformation systems and technologies, which are:
- the content of the educational program is unchanged throughout the student's term of study under this program. The decision to amend the current educational program on selective educational components shall be taken by the Academic Council of the University on the basis of the justification provided by the guarantor;
- the educational program is part of the information package; elements of the educational program (qualification, entry requirements, duration, learning outcomes, etc.) are elements of the appendix to the diploma;
- the volume of study load in the semester is 30 ECTS credits;
- the minimum volume of discipline in one semester (except those specified in these Requirements and specialty 191) is 4 ECTS credits. For two semesters divides disciplines with a volume of 9 credits or more. The examination is planned for a discipline of at least 4.5 credits;
- educational programs within the same specialty must have the same compulsory part in order to meet the requirements of the Standard of Higher Education of Ukraine;
- educational programs within the specialty (groups of specialties) should be unified in terms of joint competences. Educational programs within the specialty should be unified for 1 and 2 courses of study.
To develop the educational program, a specialist working group and a project team from the educational program are formed and functioning. An elaboration of the educational program is a review.
The directions of further research, characterized by the formation of information and analytical support and development of mechanisms for implementing the educational program of geoinformation systems and technologies, are determined.
Keywords: educational programs, geoinformation systems and technologies, specialists, curriculum, components of the educational program.
