MOBILE SYSTEMS LASER SCANNING GEOINFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES
Abstract
The aim of the article is to determine the principles and methods of mobile laser scanning for the transport industry. To achieve this goal the following objectives: to study the general processes that allow a point cloud of laser scanning to obtain full-fledged model of roads and railways; analyze the suitability of mobile laser scanning for their immediate processing results in automatic programming and GIS systems; consider the possibility of solving practical problems of design and road management; consider the procedure for the processing and use of laser scanning data in the road sector. The possibility and methods of using the mobile laser scanners for surveying and processing. Certain advantages of mobile laser scanners in the road sector. Analyzed programs and tools used for the automated processing of the results of laser scanning.
Keywords: mobile laser scanners, automated system scanning results processing point clouds, surveying work.
