Abstract
The article is devoted to topical problems of urbanization of cities and territories. Modern urbanism is concerned with ways to improve the quality of life of citizens. The article provides statistics on various areas of urbanization in different regions of Ukraine. One of the key areas of urban planning in Ukraine is to identify the economic and social priorities of sustainable development with a view to effectively working the cities and territories using innovative technologies. To ensure effective development and comfort for the residents.
The purpose of the article is to develop proposals for the systematization of urban development factors and to determine the prospects for their rationalization in different regions of Ukraine.
The effect of these factors in specific regions has its own peculiarities and the state of demographic processes forms a mosaic picture both quantitatively and qualitatively. The study of this picture will enable us to determine at what expense the regions and in what direction the processes of reproduction of the population unfold. In addition, the demographic situation in certain regions can become the basis upon which the models of the future sustainable reproduction of the people of Ukraine as a whole and certain regions in particular, formation of the demographic policy of the state are based. The territory of Ukraine clearly distinguishes between the three factors affecting the location of the population. The most important is the socio-economic factor, that is, the placement of productive forces, which affects the emergence of cities and a significant inflow of rural population to them.
As a result of the research, the priorities of urban development of territories in Ukraine were determined. The settlement problem is based on the national and regional goals of the development of cities and territories. According to the results of the analysis, the leading experience of urbanization has identified the priorities of sustainable development of cities and territories. The ways of building an effective settlement system in Ukraine for the sustainable development of territories are developed and proposed.
