INVESTMENT ACTIVITY OF ROAD-BUILDING ENTERPRISES

Abstract
The purpose of the paper is to specify the terms of investment, the investment, investment process, investment management and certain areas of development of investment activity of road construction enterprises.
The paper analyzes the work and contribution of Ukrainian scientists who investigated investment activity in Ukraine. The definition of terms of investment in accordance with the legislation is given. The approaches to understanding the concept of "management of investment activity" are considered.
The authors listed the main tasks in the process of managing the investment activity of the enterprise in an unstable economy. The principles of forming a subsystem of management of investment activity are also defined. Listed stages of implementation of investment management process. The peculiarities of management of investment activity of road-building enterprises and functions of management of investment activity of the enterprise are analyzed.
The article states that the current state of most roads in Ukraine does not meet modern requirements: to provide fast, comfortable, economical and safe transportation of passengers and goods. The authors emphasize that technical re-equipment, introduction of new technologies for construction of highways, reduction of energy intensity of works are the key directions of innovative activity of road construction enterprises. Need to improve the material and technical basis of the road economy with the transition to an innovative way of development, technical re-equipment. It was emphasized that the introduction of new technologies of construction and reconstruction of highways, reduction of energy intensity of works, prevention of harmful influence of road construction on the environment and the introduction of informational and analytical system of management of road economy remains important.
